“Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.”
William Butler Yeats
I love this quote. It’s on the morning vitamin pack that I take every morning, and it universally applies to what we’re doing here in the Code Larks community.
It boils down to being proactive.
You want to break into tech or take your existing career in tech to the next level? Start today. Start early. If you’re reading this, then you are ahead of the game. But don’t expect the iron of the progress you want to get hot on its own.
Make the iron of your improved future self – your improved future career, and everything you are confident that will do to improve your life, your finances, and your sense of purpose and happiness – make it hot by proactively rising each morning to the Code Larks challenge.
The community is here and we have your back every step of the way. We are small now but are working extremely hard to get the foundations of a great community right.
There are so many students and growth-minded professionals like you, who are ready to get laser focused and proactively strike to make the most of each morning together. The Code Larks community is ready to help you make the most of that journey.
If you know some people like you, please invite them! The more the merrier, as it will only make the Code Larks experience and the support network of this community that much greater for us all.
Also, keep an eye out for our next post, where we will be pulling back the curtains on the Code Larks Challenge. We are going all in this December to make it our best challenge yet. You won’t want to miss it!
Now get after it. Do not wait, and kudos to you for kicking ass this morning.
Your partner in morning mastery,
Matt
P.S. If the quote above was underwhelming for you, or you just want to expand your mind a bit more before building your technical skills, give this a watch. It’s time to get comfortable with being uncomfortable:
